I am so excited to begin my blog for Psych II. Having published work makes this class feel so much more important, and will make me stay focused. I remember last year I watched a friend work on her blog for this class, and it seemed like the coolest thing. I think it's also important to add the technological element to a high schoolers curriculum, because society is becoming so tech focused. Running a blog seems like a pretty basic task, but it will familiarize us with different elements of technology.

Student Portfolio #1:

PsychcloneSplash- This blog was very text heavy. There weren't many pictures to go along with her blog posts. However, I did enjoy the pictures of the blogger throughout blog. It gave a glimpse into the bloggers personal life, and made it feel a bit more personal. Over all, she had good things to say and I enjoyed my visit to her blog.

Student Portfolio #2:

Old Psych Corner- The blog seemed like it was just thrown together. There were many grammar errors throughout, and it just seemed unprofessional. In his bio, he switches from third to first person, for example. It seems as though this blogger could have put a little more effort into making his blog presentable.

Student Portfolio #3:

Mind Meld- While this blog was full of humor, it wasn't exactly professional. The language was casual, but attention had been paid to grammar and spelling. His profile picture was humorous, and I had a good laugh. There were plenty of pictures to accompany the blog posts, which will engage visual learners.
